Contradiction - Dong Open Air 2017

Contradiction The band history of Wuppertal based metal scene inventory counts no less than 27 years, we cannot think of local metal without them. It does not come as a surprise that even MTV (for the younger ones amongst you: MTV used to be a music channel) Vanessa Warwick check out the guys. Eight albums later, the metal commando has not gotten tired yet – probably because the guys have shared a fair number of successes since their inception in 1989.

Contradiction were the first foreign band at the Icelandic Eistnaflug festival and played numerous gigs all over Europe and Russia. Of course, they also played the Dong Open Air a couple of times and we have come to consider each other friends. Contradiction live shows are energetic – they don’t take prisoners. But be safe and keep your distance: There’s video proof that one of their drummers exploded behind his drum kit.
