Scardust - Dong Open Air 2018

We are impressed with the level of originality, Scardust have proven in the brief time of their existence. The band first saw the light of day in 2015 in Tel Aviv and released their first EP in the same year. The record started their virtuous borderline walk between prog and symphonic metal, which gains its final, strongly recognizable values from singer Noa’s voice.

They released their debut album “Sands of Time” in the past summer, upping the ante with impressive strings, choir and guest vocalist Kobi Farhi from Orphaned Land. Despite the orchestral framework and skilled play of the band colleagues, it is still Noa’s voice the plays the first fiddle, whenever it is heard: Ranging from emotional to powerful like in “Sands of Time” or with growls and screams in “Queen of Insanity” or slightly excentric like in “Arrowhead”. We are incredibly proud to welcome a band as special as this one!
