KadavriK - Dong Open Air 2016

The history of KadavriK counts a promising streak of thirteen years. Yet another reason to invite the melodic death metal commando from Wesel to one of the best festivals of the neighborhood. Conveniently, the scoundrels released their fourth album GRIMM I + II last year, which – as the name already conveys – deals with the Grimm Brothers. But don’t worry; the story telling will focus on the darker chapters of the well-known writers.

The band has made a public statement explaining: “We’re done making compromises regarding anything, genre categories, or rules. The album has become exactly what we wanted it to be.” You’ll be able to verify this bold statement, when KadavriK smash your heads in with a decent bit of – dare we still name a genre? – melodic death metal. We can only hope that our tent is still up when the guys, who already wrecked a fair amount of stages on tour with Graveworm and Napalm Death, make your necks twitch.
