Fleshgod Apocalypse - Dong Open Air 2016

If there’s one thing that’s certain, it’s that Fleshgod Apocalypse are currently the hottest shit international death metal has to offer. For some reason people get curious when a band names Morbid Angel, Deicide, and Cannibal Corpse as their main influences, alongside Haydn, Mozart, and Beethoven.
Easy to say, hard to live up to? If the result sounds like a badass blend of Behemoth and Dimmu Borgir, the last sceptics will listen up!

This is what happened on tour with Kataklym, and finally also at Wacken in 2014. All set up with piano, tux, and a truckload of darkness, the five ghouls from Rome entered the stage and took the audience by storm! High speed drums, mean growls, and symphonic bombast delivered on point!
“King” is the modest title of their brand new album, and the song “Fool” which was released up front gives a good outlook on what’s going to be one of the best records of 2016!
