Burden of Grief - Dong Open Air 2016

Apparently one very popular pastime activity is to found bands and to play melodic death metal in the tradition of Gothenburg steel. Burden of Grief did just this. The bands has made it through an impressive count of 22 years together, has wisely spent the time releasing nine albums, and took part in three tribute records.

To be fair, the band’s latest long player “Unchained” is already two years old, but we all know good things come to those who wait, and there are many reasons why the album scored highly with the press. Live and on stage, Burden of Grief will kill you with some serious grooves even without producer legend Dan Swanö on the mixing desk, blowing out your ears, and giving your neck a much needed workout. Be assured that the moshpit will form naturally!
