Reds'cool - Dong Open Air 2015

Reds'cool, 2015

After fourteen years, it’s unbelievable, but still true: Never has the Dong Open Air been opened by a foreign band. So we are quite proud to announce that a band from the cultural metropolis of St. Petersburg is going to change this. Reds’cool play excellent classic 80s rock, which for some reason is not sufficiently appreciated in their native country. While the local “Radio Rocks” channel did play their first single “One night” quite a bit, they couldn’t change the fact that opening bands generally have a hard time in Russia.

Their passion for music did not falter and thus they focused on tours abroad. The Baltic states and Finland were quickly tapped, and tours with Accept, UFO and the Black Star Riders took the band through all of Europe. Now on to the Dong Hill, with their latest addition Slava, a trained Jazz singer cum laude, who is going to sing some of the songs from their yet to be released album “Red Button” for us!
