Gilgamesh - Dong Open Air 2015

These Gilgamesh should not be mixed up with the rock band from the 1970s, especially since the quartet from Bavaria plays a mixture of black and death metal with a bit more oomph. They have already made themselves a name in the region around Munich since their formation in 2011. In early 2014, they gathered up and sat down in the studio of V. Santura (Dark Fortress / Tryptikon) and recorded their first album. No later than the release of their debut "The Awakening" in September 2014, which scored the highest score in the Legacy magazine, the rest of Germany started noticing them. Influenced by big names like Nile and Behemoth, their narrative of the 4000 year old Babylonian Gilgamesh epos promises a dark atmosphere.
