ButWeTryIt - Dong Open Air 2015
ButWeTryIt have the certain je-ne-sais-quoi. They call it New Age Melodic Death Metal that has primarily been inspired by Scandinavian death metal, but isn't afraid to take anything they can use from metalcore. We detect a distant relation to Fear Factory and a brave flirt with the synthesizer. The overall results who clearly structured songs that get stuck in your head, invite a good mosh pit, featuring great guitar solos, and a marvelous sound, all of which can be found on the two albums "Dead Lights" and "Twisted Sanctuary"!
It was hard to miss the general appreciation of the two records, as the quintet from Wuppertal scored rather pleasant reviews in the Metal Hammer Magazine and on metal.de. Their hit "Through the Peril" made it onto the Metal Hammer sample, while their post-apocalyptic video for "Iron Reign" was featured on the Rock Hard website.
More than 100 national and international shows later, the band has worked out their live performance, turning the raw diamond, which first saw the light of day in 2008, into a shiny gem of the underground. Their leitmotiv: Metal is God!
