Do you like energetic shows and have you always wanted take wrap your head around Japanese culture? If your answer to these questions is “yes”, then our co-headliner on Saturday night will blow you, yes YOU, right of Mount Moshmore. Get ready for Rise of the Northstar!
Founded in CrashPilots from Moers, right in the D.O.A neighborhood, play modern metal/metalcore. One thing you really can’t tell from their music: On average, the guys are barely 16 years old. Still, they aced local band competitions, rocked a couple of underground festivals, all in time to warm up for the Dong stage! They have enough material for a great show, having released two EPs (Lost in the Dark and Sins) so far. #supportingheavyunderground
The sound of Sweet Electric is quite the contrast! The Australian-German combo from Cologne describes their music as “a distillation of the best rock’n’roll of the 70s and 80s”. Expect colorful outfit, excellent guitar riffs, and just about everything you need for a good time: This band brings it on stage! Don’t forget to pack your favorite leopard leggings and bandanas to challenge the guys to the best festival outfit of the year. If things work out as expected, they might just release their new album before July!
