Are you ready for the next round? Here’s three more bands hailing from the Heavy, Acapella Hero and Black Metal subgenres!
Battle Beast from Helsinki may jog your memory as a guarantee for a great show. The sextet around Noora Louhimo makes “100% heavy metal – 0% bullshit!” and never loses sight of the symphonic components. Get ready for catchy songs with fat riffs and a voice you won’t forget. After their UK tour in 2024, the band will return to Mount Moshmore once more!
For almost two decades, Van Canto have been proving that they can be a metal band and still make do without guitars. But how? Inga and Hagen’s lead vocals are carried by “Rakkatakka”, “Wah-Wah” and “Dandan” vocals, replacing all other instruments (except for the drums). This, dear friends, is a cappella heavy metal. Can’t imagine that this works? Eight studio albums and various international tours show that it does.
Old Ruins from Gelsenkirchen don’t sing about Tolkien, superheroes or pirates, but they do sing about Diablo! The quartet play their own unofficial soundtrack to the popular gloomy action role-playing game! Anyone familiar with the game series will know that black metal with influences from the heavy and melo-death sub-genres are an excellent match. Follow the dark wanderer up the mountain!
Fancy three festive days with the above-mentioned folks, the best view over the summery Ruhr area and the Lower Rhine with a cool drink in your hand and friends in the mosh pit? As you wish! Get your tickets here!
Is the line-up finally complete? No! Stay tuned to see who else is going to join us to broaden your musical horizons!
