Dear all, things are already moving forward!
We continue our work in preparation for next summer and would like to share the fruits of our labor with you. Here comes the next bunch of bands for the Dong Open Air on July 17-19, 2025:
With Kreator (and Destruction), we make it to 50% of the Big Teutonic Four! Does this band actually need any further introduction? More than forty years on stage, shaping and creating the thrash metal genre like few others, and still ready to blow off your heads during their explosive live shows. If you haven’t seen them live, it’s about time. If you haven’t made plans to see them next summer, it’s about time.
Suidakra were there when the legendary Dong storm took out everything we had in 2004 and still managed to pull off their Celtic metal show in the light of a lantern (held up by headbanging festival organizer Atze). The Monheim based band will be returning for the fifth time to bring you their martial mix of fast melodeath and Irish folk. Are you ready?
“We are Weckörhead and we play rock’n’roll” – do you have any idea which direction this is going? You are right: These guys play (primarily, but not exclusively) Motörhead songs with maximum passion, but with clever German lyrics. Mr. Kilmister would have been delighted. Hopefully you will too!
