Band package 9: Non Est Deus | Homecoming | Onyxsin

The sun is out, and so is what is likely to be the penultimate band package! Curious? We got you ominous black metal blasts, deeply relaxed French prog/rock/metal, and the finest local underground metal discovery.

You may already know Non Est Deus Mastermind Noise from Bamberg from his Dong approved project Kanonenfieber. This year, there will be more musical bullets: Noise and his four colleagues slap their black metal, heavily dripping with religious symbolism, in the face of the (un)believing world, while they themselves remain completely veiled. Get ready, because There Is No God!

Homecoming from Paris describe their style as “post-whatever.” Their music blends furious drums and red-hot riffs with melodic but brutal vocals. The bottom line is excellent post-metal steel. With their two albums, Homecoming have achieved a fair amount of popularity far beyond their national borders – and this year you’ll find out if you’re part of the post-whatever crowd!

ONYXSIN travel from remote Duisburg and bring you a forceful blend of hard rock and metal across the Rhine. Powerful riffs and driving drums carry the trio’s socially critical, dark songs. The band repeatedly draws on elements from various metal styles such as prog, melodic death, and metalcore. Mount Moshmore is ready to go!

Slowly, but surely we‘re getting there. Apart from these three bands there will also be Aereum, Alestorm, Amorphis, Bonded, Brothers of Metal, Detartrated, Gangrena Gasosa, Goatfather, Goldsmith, Grailknights, Hold your Ground, Impureza, Octoploid, Opus Maxima, Overkill, Skindred, Snakebite, SubMasq, Subway to Sally, Synsnake, and Vansind. (And behind each of these links, there’s introductions and more info/links to check out their music!)

Another 133 until wes hall meet again on Mount Moshmore! Tickets are available here: https://www.dongopenair.de/tickets/
