Aztek Djent, 80s Hard Rock and an energetic blend of hardcore and punk? No worries, these are three separate bands:
Opus Maxima from Mexico City stand for virtuoso djent with a healthy dose of progressive deathcore. The quartet brings 8-string guitars and turns up the amp to explode their honest, brutal music on stage with maximum effect. Post-Aztec relentlessness? It’s worth traveling halfway around the world to test the volcanic qualities of Mount Moshmore as a backdrop!
Snakebite from Essen bring the 80s to the mountain. Inspired by classic and modern rock and metal influences from this decade, the quartet combines driving riffs, catchy hooks, and powerful grooves to create a unique style that gets right under your skin. Get ready for snakes, drugs, rock ‘n’ roll, and become part of the Cobra Crew!
With more bass strings on stage than subscribers on YouTube, Hold Your Ground from Lünen represent the last line of defense for the genuine underground. No frills, no compromises: the result is a direct, down-to-earth, and incredibly energetic mix of hardcore and punk that immediately won us over. See for yourselves!
The lineup is getting fuller. Apart from the abovementioned three bands, Aereum, Bonded, Alestorm, Amorphis, Brothers of Metal, Detartrated, Gangrena Gasosa, Goatfather, Goldsmith, Grailknights, Impureza, Octoploid, Overkill, Skindred, SubMasq, Subway to Sally, Synsnake, and Vansind are also going to be there. We’re not done yet, though. So stay tuned!
While you’re patiently waiting for the next band package, feel free to secure your ticket to three relaxed, loud days on a hill at the Lower Rhine. Where? Here: https://www.dongopenair.de/tickets/
