Synsnake from South Korea are causing quite the stir with their new genre, KPop-Core! Their powerful mix of delicate, clean vocals by frontwoman Serah Oh and the infernal screams of her counterpart Sungmin Cho, it’s puzzeling how the five South Koreans managed to hide from us for so long. With their current album “Nodes” in tow, Synsnake are ready to conjure up pitch-black metalcore honmoon with the best view of the Ruhr area.
The German Freiburg based band Goldsmith, led by well-toured founder Michael Goldschmidt, has a wide range of influences, from classic rock and blues to thrash metal. Ultimately, however, they bring you classic heavy metal with modern punch, a healthy dose of humor, and a clear message: standing still is not an option. Their new album “Into the Wilds” particularly picks up on the thrash metal component – delivered straight to Mount Moshmore!
Vansind set sail for Neukirchen-Vluyn, bringing you Danish folk metal influenced by Nordic mythology and Scandinavian history! Founded in 2019, the seven Danes have been touring the country, bringing everything from bagpipes to string instruments and tin whistles, making the folk metal hearts in the crowd beat faster. Shame on those who nurse a hangover in their tents. For only venerable mosh pit warriors can look forward to an honorable finish in Donghalla!
