It’s time to announce the last two additions to the lineup! As in previous years, the Wacken Metal Battle Final for Germany will take place on Mount Moshmore. And these two bands are up against each other:
DEADEND from Regensburg have a unique sound which their very own DJ arranges into impressively multi-layered metalcore! Get ready for raw emotions, awesome synth sounds and songs that address important subjects such as resilience and the power of change. Experience the next evolutionary stage of metalcore with DEADEND at the Dong Open Air. Genre conventions? Never heard of them!
Gun Called Britney strike a completely different chord. Founded in 2019, the four sleaze rockers have been going full throttle ever since, spreading feel-good vibes and fueling the longing for summer sun, surfboards and muscle cars. The four guys from Hamburg, self acclaimed “Reeperbahn rock stars,” bring the perfect summer sound and thus an excellent start to three cozy days with us! And you!
This is a battle between opponents who couldn’t be more different. This begs the question: Who will win the Wacken Metal Battle Germany finals and move on to Wacken? Only the encounter on our mountain of destiny will reveal the answer.
