Haggard at the Dong Hill – live in the Moshbox!

We are happy to inform you that we can finally – in accordance with current Corona protection legislation – let live concerts happen again. Real live concerts. No streaming, drive in concerts or tiny accoustic shows – but real live shows with up to 250 guests!
At our personal Eldorado, the Dong Hill, under the open sky, and in less than two weeks!
Firstly, we would like to present you a very special act, which in 2016 got one of the loudest applause in the history of the festival: Haggard!
The classic medieval metal ensemble around Asis Nasseri will be playing for you on Sunday, August 2nd, 2020, for you in Neukirchen-Vluyn at 8:30 pm.
This is not only the first show for the band since the corona crisis, but also their first show in this part of Germany in two years!
There will be another band to support Haggard. We'll fill you in who this will be in the coming days.
Of course, this new concert format has its own name. It is the Dong Open Air Moshbox! We will announce further dates for the Moshbox soon.
Our service partners and ourselves are very relieved to see this first step into a new direction. After the long dry spell, this means, we can finally generate our own income again. And of course, the best way for us is to do this by offering live music that makes everyone happy!
This will not just be a live concert, but a sign that when we consider some careful rules, we can get back to a little bit of normalcy. The Moshbox is going to take place in a small amphitheater at the Halde Norddeutschland, in an area that would usually be part of the camp ground during the Dong Open Air. There will be plenty of room to observe distancing rules.
Under normal circumstances, it would certainly be smarter economically to carry out this kind of even with more than two weeks' notice. But since the summer has moved along so far, we don't want to lose any more time and make the best use of the warm season for everyone involved.
