Back in 2015, the true metal band WIZARD, who had originally started out as a thrash combo, paid us their first visit and blasted a headbanging, excited crowd with songs about Nordic gods, mean magicians, and epic battles. The Münsterland quintet has been called one of Germany’s bands with the longest metal tradition – and this does not come as a surprise: By now, the combo looks back on 33 years of band history and 12 strong studio albums.

We are particularly happy to have WIZARD back this year. Packing their current album “Metal in My Head” and all the anticipation of the past years, WIZARD are ready to run up that hill. Due to the pandemic related live break, the Bocholt based guys have built up quite a bit of energy – so get ready for the battle of your lives! They won’t leave until they have properly blasted the last of your skulls with their true metal.
