Dong 2018: Date and Application Kick-off

The Dong Open Air is going to take place on its traditional July weekend, July 12th to 14th – make sure to mark this in your calendars.
The application phase for the 18th Dong has already begun – if you're a musician, this is your chance to become part of the program! Literally any bands who worship harsh guitar sounds are welcome to apply.
The only requirement is the upload of at least three audio samples on our online application form. Where you're from, how many records you may or may not have published and whether you have a record deal are merely circumstantial.
Use your chance to play your own early festival gig on the Dong Hill surrounded by the best of people just like Sabaton, Equilibrium, Van Canto or Mantar have done before you!
If you can barely wait for the next Dong, you might want to take a look at our online shop. In October, we'll take a stop on “Road to Dong18” with the Dong veterans HAGGARD, SKYCLAD, Storm Seeker, GLORYFUL and Elvellon at the ResonanzWerk in Oberhausen.
