Nervosa – Portuguese for wrath – is the name and calling of the south American trio. Nervosa make it all the way across the big pond to kick your ass. The thrash combo from São Paulo can already line up a number of impressive references: The band already made it through an extensive tour through Europe and thrashed all of the big festivals as they passed. The audience at 70,000 tons of Metal cruise also bowed down to the Brazilian steam roller.

Comparisons to Slayer and young Sepultura clearly underline their relevance the trio has achieved in the scene. Nervosa’s angry riffs are as merciless as a chainsaw to the ear canal. Whenever the ladies show up, they leave nothing but burned earth behind. It almost becomes irrelevant that the all female band cleans up any gender clichés that might have come up.
