Fateful Finality - Dong Open Air 2017

When Fateful Finality show up, the kick ass and take names. Brutal riffs blare from the speakers, manes immediately switch to spin cycle, the area in front of the stage turns into a rotating thrash maelstrom that mercilessly sucks in anyone who gets to close. Their show at the Wacken Metal Battle 2012, where the band easily won the German finals, yet again proved that they already had the audience on their side.

But the Stuttgart based guys are not only a treat on stage. The second album of the Swabians, “Battery,” scored the praise of the press, and was mentioned in the same breath as Gothenburg veterans The Haunted. Fateful Finality have a reputation of being the most hopeful new German metal formations for a reason. You won’t be able to hide from this elemental force on the hill. So you might just give into your fate and head straight to stage.
