Acyl describe their style as experimental ethno metal, and if you’ve had the pleasure of seeing them perform live, you might go as far as to add the adjectives “mystic” or “magical” to it. But regardless of your choice of words, Acyl fascinate time and again with an explosive blend of traditional North African instruments, oriental tunes, and some tough death metal.

They released their second album, Aftermath, in 2016, which deals with the eventful history of Algeria. Forceful drums, pushing rhythms, and fiery temperament are awaiting you, when the quintet starts their oriental metal fireworks that could double as the soundtrack for a remake of Lawrence of Arabia.
