Dust Bolt - Dong Open Air 2016

Dust Bolt originally started out by the name “die Letzten” (“the last” / “the least”) as a punk band in 2006. Back then nobody knew that after a slight change in their musical direction, they would soon be considered the new hope for the ailing thrash genre. Dust Bolt, who find their more recent musical roots in the Bay Area, convinced their audience in as much as their first demo was crowned “demo of the month” in the Metal Hammer magazine.

Additionally, the old school thrash combo won the 2011 Wacken Metal Battle. Their success speaks for itself. Playing the opening slot for Sepultura, Six Feet Under, and Napalm Death, the guys who average at a youthful 21 years released their second album “Awake the Riot” in 2014. Plenty of reasons to check out the band on our stage and to enjoy a cold beer alongside some energetic thrash in the mosh pit.
