The Prosecution - Dong Open Air 2015

Eight-headed bands are rather rare, even at the Dong Open Air! If you are expecting some medieval band with bells on their ankles, you are more than wrong! The octet from Bavaria will teach you what it sounds like when hardcore, ska, and metal elements come together.

We think it turned out to be a fairly danceable mixture that sounds like a decent party and the guys seem to us like Dong-compatible ska brothers of Billy Talent – They are involved with Pro Asyl, an association that supports refugees, and have plenty of stage experience. They have been around for thirteen years and played 21 festivals just last summer. Taking a look at the current festival season, it is more than helpful that The Prosecution are releasing their new album "Words with Destiny" in Feburary, so we can get a good impression once they have warmed up by the time summer comes around. While the saxophone was last played at the DOA in 2003, the trombone will have its premier in 2015!
